According to the Interim Budget proposals, the government has earmarked Rs 255.25 crore in the next fiscal (2014-15) as compared to Rs 233.36 crore in the revised estimates for this fiscal, indicating a growth of 9.4 per cent.
This includes an allocation of Rs 24 crore towards plan expenditure and Rs 231.25 crore for non-planned expenditure, as per Interim Budget presented by Chidambaram in Parliament today.
