A conference of coaches is being organised by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) as part of a new initiative.
The first such two-day event will be held in Mumbai Saturday.
The MCA's Cricket Improvement Committee (CIC) and the Coaching Committee will undertake a new initiative of inviting all grass-root level coaches from here for the two-day conference, a media release quoted CIC acting chairman and former India pacer Raju Kulkarni as saying Thursday.
The first coaches' conference will be held on September 29 and 30 at the MCA Sharad Pawar Indoor Cricket Academy in suburban Bandra-Kurla Complex from 9 am to 4 pm.
"The Coaches' Conference will bring 20 coaches under one roof to discuss and share their experiences. The conference will be held fortnightly and will accommodate 20 coaches per conference." said Kulkarni.
He said the aim of the conference is to establish communication between all the coaches of Mumbai and to learn from each other's experiences.
