MCGM signs MoU with Hermitage Museum of St Petersburg

The State Hermitage Museum at St Petersburg, Russia, one of the largest and oldest museums in the world, and the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai today signed an MoU in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Fadnavis is currently on an official visit to Russia.
"The MoU is for comprehensive development of arts and culture," an official in the Chief Minister's Office said here.
The State Hermitage Museum houses over 3 million items including the largest collection of paintings in the world.
General Director of Hermitage, Mikhail Piotrovskiy and MCGM Commissioner Ajoy Mehta, were present on the occasion.
