Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow presented the awards established by the Punjabi Society of The British Isles here on Friday night.
The citation described Bhupinder Singh as a "seasoned banker" with an extensive experience of over 35 years across Credit, Marketing, Corporate Governance, Audit, Compliance, Investments, Human Resource and Merchant Banking.
Receiving the award, Bhupinder Singh said "this award goes to 80 million customers of the bank globally."
The other awardees were Seema Malhotra, Labour MP for Feltham and Heston for her services to the Public; Atul Pathak, one of the UK's most successful franchise entrepreneurs for philanthropy; and Kuljit Singh Gulati, VP of the Punjabi Society for his distinguished community services.

Speaking at the occasion, Virender Paul, India's acting High Commissioner to Britain, lauded the achievements of the NRI community in the UK, saying "You make India proud by your achievements."
Speaker Bercow lauded the achievements of Rami Ranger, President of the Society and parliamentarian Keith Vaz.
"It helps psychologically traumatised soldiers to rebuild their lives and in the process turn liabilities into assets again for our Nation," he said adding, "Mental agony can be worse than losing an arm or a leg."
