MDMK holds 5 km run to sensitise students on evils of liqour

: MDMK today held a five kilometer run here involving students to sensitise them on the evils of liqour consumption as part of its campaign seeking prohibition in Tamil Nadu.
College and school students participated in large numbers.
The students were divided into seven categories and 35 participants were awarded by party general secretary Vaiko.
In 2012, Vaiko had gone on a padayatra, seeking total prohibition in Tamil Nadu.
Political parties, including MDMK and PMK, social outfits and Gandhian Sasi Perumal have been seeking prohibition in Tamil Nadu.
