Medical College Prof arrested on molestation charge

A professor of a government medical college here was arrested this evening on a molestation complaint by a second year MBBS student, police said.
The accused is an assistant professor with the Government Medical College and Hospital, they said.
The student in her complaint to the college's principal had stated that the accused allegedly attempted to molest her inside an operation theatre yesterday.
Students staged a protest in the college this morning seeking action against him.
