The company did not disclose the financial details, but according to sources it has raised an estimated sum of Rs 10-12 crore.
Curofy, which enables safe and secure communication between doctors will be using the new capital for funding product development, marketing and hiring new resources, it said in a statement.
The city-based startup was founded by Mudit Vijayvergiya, Nipun Goyal and Pawan Gupta in February 2015 and claims to have more than 10,000 doctors on its platform.
Prior to this, the company had received angel funding of Rs one crore.
"Now we are focusing on expanding our network. Currently we have doctors from 70 cities across the country and we are planning to expand that, " he added.
He further said that the firm is also looking to hire doctors from every stream of medicine, like cardiology, orthopaedics, to be a part of their panel.
