Medium sugar edges up on lacklustre trade

Medium sugar prices edged up in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi wholesale market here today due to mild offtake from stockists and bulk consumers.
Small sugar ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
Medium sugar (M-30) inched up by Re 1 per quintal to Rs 3,717/3,852 from Wednesday's close of Rs 3,716/3,852.
Small sugar (S-30) closed unchanged at Rs 3,622/3,712 per quintal.
