The hospital's Chief Medical Superintendent RPN Mishra said that the Chief Medical Officer DR Ramesh Chandra received a hand-written threat letter today, which states that the hospital will be "blown up".
He said the letter has been written by Jagtar Babbar Khalsa as he states that "the poor people were not provided proper treatment" at the hospital.
The writer has threatened that if the situation does not "improve" in a week's time the hospital would be "blown up".
The hospital authorities have handed over the letter to the Delhi Gate police station where it is being investigated.

He said the initial investigations have revealed that the letter was posted from the Ghanta Ghar post office, which is near the hospital.
He said that the police have been deployed at the hospital and they are trying to find out the culprit.
