About 700 delegates from various parishes and units across the country and abroad are expected to participate in the four-day conference to be held at the Kottackattu Convention Centre in Nalanchira, a release issued by the organisers said today.
The meet is envisaged as a platform for students and senior members to have a deeper idea and experience on the faith, life and mission of the church.
Delegates from Egyptian, Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox churches would be attending the meet.
The movement originated in Madras as a fellowship of students and seniors in the early 1900s. In 1960, it was named as MGOCSM after Mar Gregorios of Parumala, its Patron Saint.
Since then it has assumed an international dimension having 1,500 units with over 27,000 members the world over.
