'CII Agri Tech South 2018', which will conclude on February 11, will discuss key issues related to the farm sector, said its organisers.
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Southern Region, is organising such an event for the first time.
The Telangana government is the host state and the event would be held at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) here, Anil Epur, Chairman of the event, told reporters yesterday.
The conference would be held for two days and the exhibition for three days.

The conference also aims at "introducing practical learning to technology users", he said.
Epur, who made a presentation on the event, said the concept is based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of doubling farmers income by 2022.
Major issues to be addressed at the meet include land availability, large population, degraded soils, labour, inadequate irrigation and organic manure, he said.
Over 15,000 farmers, 50 experts from industry, academia and government are expected to visit the event, he added.
