The event organised by the IIM Shillong, a first in the country, brings corporates and business schools together where they battle it out on the greens of the 18-hole Shillong Golf Course.
Budding managers will draw the battle lines against corporate leaders in a two-day tournament beginning from tomorrow, IIM-S officials said.
While interacting with the student representatives, he expressed willingness to associate with the budding leaders of IIM Shillong in a mutually beneficial partnership.
The Chief Minister also announced that Meghalaya Tourism will be the title sponsor for the event.
As a prelude to the tournament, IIM Shillong will release a case study competition, the 'Khlur-Thma' (meaning 'war of the stars' in the native Khasi language), open to premier business schools across India.
In addition to the case study competition, IIM Shillong will also conduct a general management quiz, 'The 18th Hole' and various other online events.
Through its partnership with the Government of Meghalaya, IIM Shillong is committed to further the development of the North-East, the officials said.
