"Preliminary inspection of all important installations including dams, power plants, etc by the concerned officials have indicated that there is no structural damage reported from any part of the state of such installations," Chief Secretary P B O Warjri told PTI.
He said a detailed report is awaited from installations in remote areas of the state.
Indicating that there was no report of any casualty on account of the earthquake, Warjri said a review meeting between line departments was held early today wherein impact reports were sought.
The earthquake, which lasted for about a minute, is reportedly one of the biggest in recent times and was felt in the entire NE region, officials at the Regional Seismological Centre here said.
All states in the north-east are categorized under Zone V in the country's seismological map considered to be highly active.
