National Conference president Omar Abdullah today said Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti used "anti-national" words twice in her speech in the Assembly and she should make her stand on Article 370 clear.
"Your cameras were present at that time. I can send you the film in which the chief minister used anti-national words not once but twice," Omar told reporters here.
Mehbooba had on January 30 said in the Lower House that anybody weakening Article 370 will be doing the "biggest anti-national act".
Omar said the House was adjourned sine die "before time" and it reflected government's failures and weakness.
"The calendar of the session is prepared by the government. We were thinking to complete the session. Unfortunately, it has been adjourned abruptly," Omar said.
"They passed the Appropriation Bill and the Constitution Amendment Bill for GST in a hurry despite protests and adjourned the house sine-die. This proves how desperate the government is," Omar said.
"We demanded clarification from the chief minister on her remark. But the government hid behind the Speaker's chair," he said.
