The 25-year-old actress recently posed for a magazine in which she proudly flaunted her curves, sending out a strong message on how women are often forced to conform to a certain type of body shape in showbiz.
"I have always been very confident being curvy. I think it is all about feeling good and accepting yourself the way you are. There is no such rule that being skinny is the right way to go about. I have never felt like that. And moreover no guy has ever come to me and said that I do not look pretty... So there you go," Huma said.
"Even in Bollywood it is changing... There are so many actresses who are comfortable in their skins. That is a good sign," said Huma, who turned showstopper for designer duo Rimple and Harpreet Narula at the India Couture Week.
The 'Gangs of Wasseypur' actress dazzled on the runway in a brown lehenga-choli set, teamed with a low-cut back choli with full-sleeves.
