Affirming the divisions between men's and women's wear has blurred consistently in recent times, celebrated fashion designer Sharbari Dutta today said the concept of mascuilinity of colors has gone for a toss.
"For men'swear ties and watches are not just everything these days. Fashion is evolving, turning more unisex now. Metrosexual males are these days into all types of accessories from donnig scarves to belts. The sharp divisons of male and female wardrobe is not so sharp any more," the internationally known fashion designer said here on the sidelines of FBB fashion show where Tollywood superstar Jeet was the show-stopper.
Scotching the notion that Kolkata remained the intellectual backwater among the cities, Sharbari said "I find lots of young people eager to absorbe tricks of fashion designing, textile designing and fashion photography. There can't be any demarcation so far fashion is concerned in the present age."
"If you talk about Mumbai, that is the film city afterall," she said.
Elaborating he said, "Any new innovation in Italy and Paris becomes commonplace as everything has turned global now. And with global fashion channels the youth is always updated about international trends.
Sharbari, who dwelt on the boom period of fashion industry, said more than compatibility, looking smart, elegant and fashionably updated on new cuts and styles are of rage these days.
"One has to be confident about outfit," she said.
