Amid profit-booking by traders at prevailing levels, mentha oil prices drifted by 0.43% to Rs 919.30 per kg in futures trade today.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in December fell by Rs 4, or 0.43% to Rs 919.30 per kg in a business turnover of 74 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in January 2016 eased by Rs 3.60, or 0.38% to Rs 932.50 per kg in one lot.

Analysts said besides profit-booking by participants at existing levels, easing demand from consuming industries in the spot market, mainly led to the decline in mentha oil prices at the futures trade.
