Mentha oil prices declined by 0.23 per cent to Rs 942 per kg in futures trading today as traders booked profits amid easing demand in the spot market.
Besides, adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing regions put pressure on mentha oil prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in February month fell by Rs 2.20, or 0.23 per cent to Rs 942 per kg in business turnover of 142 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in March contracts eased by Rs 2.10, or 0.22 per cent to Rs 953 per kg in 29 lots.
