Mentha oil rises on uptick in demand

Mentha oil prices rose by Rs 5 per kg at the chemical market in the national capital today due to pick up in demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market.
However, other chemicals moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and pegged at last levels.
Marketmen said upsurge in demand from consuming industries, mainly attributed the rise in mentha oil prices.
Mentha oil bold crystal, flake and oil were up by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,175, Rs 1,135 and Rs 1,055 per kg, respectively.
