Mentha oil strengthens on increased demand
Press Trust of India New Delhi Mentha oil prices gained Rs 5 per kg at the local market today due to increased demand from consuming industries amid restricted arrivals from producing belts.
However, other chemicals held steady in thin trade.
Marketmen said increased demand from consuming industries against limited arrivals from producing regions mainly kept mentha oil prices higher.
In the national capital, menthol bold crystal, flake and oil prices were quoted higher by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,110, Rs 1,100 and Rs 1,130 per kg, respectively.
