Menthol extend losses on subdued demand
Press Trust of India New Delhi Menthol prices fell further by Rs 5 per kg at the wholesale chemical market today due to sluggish demand from consuming industries against sufficient supply position.
Other chemical however, remained flat in thin trade.
Traders said easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept pressure on mentha oil prices.
In the national capital, menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil remained weak and shed another Rs 5 each to Rs 1,090, Rs 1,080 and Rs 1,110 per kg, respectively.
