Luxury car maker Mercedes- Benz India on Tuesday signed an MoU with an engineering college here to provide Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics (ADAM) course and said it is committed towards endowing the youth with skills and expertise.
The one-year ADAM programme seeks to fulfil the requirement for superlative service in the automotive sector by developing skilled manpower for the industry.
Mercedes-Benz India signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT).
Mercedes-Benz India CEO Martin Schwenk said "We are excited to expand it further to KIIT. Auto segment is one of the highest contributors to the GDP of the nation. As the leaders in the auto luxury segment, it is incumbent upon us to upskill the youth with technical expertise required in the segment to make them future-ready."
