Mercury dips further in Rajasthan, Ganganagar coldest at 12.9

With northerly breeze approaching the state, light winter nights started in Rajasthan while Ganganagar was the coldest place recording a minimum temperature of 12.9 degree Celsius, MeT officials said.
Various areas including the sandy desert of Barmer, Bikaner and Jaisalmer witnessed cold breeze.
Mount Abu on hills recorded a minimum of seven degree C.
Churu recorded a minimum of 14.7, Pilani 16.8, Jaisalmer 18.5, Bikaner 19.0, and Jaipur 20 degree C.
There were no rains in the state as the Hudhud fall out passed out yesterday, they said.
Effect of fresh snow in J&K would come down up to Rajasthan by early next week, a forecast said.
