Mercury dips with sporadic rains in Himachal Pradesh

Weather today mainly remained dry in Himachal Pradesh with some places witnessing sporadic rains which led to drop in temperatures, MeT department officials said.
Kalpa was the coldest with temperatures at 6 degree Celsius.
Manali followed with 10.2 degree Celsius, Keylong 11.3, Shimla 13, Solan 13.5, Palampur 14.5, Bhuntar 15.2, Dharamsala 15.4, Sundernagar 15.8 and Una 19.8.
Aghar remained the wettest with 43mm rainfall.
Bangana received 32 mmrainfall, Sujanpurtira 27mm, Kangra 23mm, Nainadevi 21mm, Sundernagar 19mm, Una 18mm, Gohar 14mm , Pandoh 11mm, Bijahi 10 mm.
Mehre, Rohruand Kasauli 9mm each, Kalpa 8mm and Hamirpur and Guler 7mm each.
Una recorded maximum temperature of 33.3 degree Celsius, Bhuntar 31.2, Solan 28.5, Dharamshala 28.2, Nahan 28.0, Manali 23.8, Shimla 23.6 and Kalpa 20.8.
The local MeT office forecasts rains or thundershowers in mid hills over the next four days and rains at isolated places in the lower and higher hills over the next two days.
