Bankura was the hottest place in the state at 37.9 degrees, the MeT department said.
Asansol, Burdwan and Sriniketan in Gangetic West Bengal recorded their respective maximums at 37, 35.8 and 36.4 degrees.
Kolkata had a high of 33.4 degrees, but high humidity caused discomfort among the denizens.
Jalpaiguri town in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal gauged 25.3 mm of rains, the MeT department said.
The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rains in most parts of Gangetic West Bengal, while moderate rainfall is likely in parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
