Mercury settles below normal in Delhi

Humidity caused discomfort to Delhiities even as both the maximum and minimum temperatures settled below normal.
The maximum temperature today settled at 38.6 degrees, two notches below the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded four notches below the normal at 23.7 degrees Celsius, said MeT department officials.
The humidity in air hovered between 77 and 37 per cent.
MeT department has predicted partly cloudy skies along with the possibility of dust storms in some parts of the city.
"The skies will be partly cloudy tomorrow. Dust storm could occur in some parts of the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to settle at 39 and 25 respectively," said the weatherman.
Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 23.6 degrees, while the maximum temperature settled at 34.6 degrees Celsius which was six notches below the season's average.
