Metro feeder bus service from Shivaji Stadium Station tomorrow

Delhi Metro will be starting a dedicated feeder bus service from Shivaji Stadium Metro Station of the Airport Express line from tomorrow onwards.
According to a DMRC official, the route of this feeder bus service will cover approximately 13 kms and will be available from 8 AM to 8 PM daily.
It will start from Shivaji Stadium, and cover Patel Chowk Metro Station, Akashwani Bhawan, Krishi Bhawan, Patiala House, High Court, Pragati Maidan, Supreme Court, ITO, Delhi Gate, New Delhi Airport Metro station, Minto Road and Statesman House, before returning to the base station.
"Initially, this route will be operated on trial basis with 3 Non-AC buses at a frequency of about 20 minutes with fare similar to non-AC DTC buses i.E, Rs 5 for travel upto 4 kms, Rs 10 for travel from 4 to 10 kms and Rs 15 for more than 10 kms," the official said.
These feeder buses have been pressed into service to help commuters whose offices are located along this route and who may prefer to use Airport Express Line for commuting from Dwarka side.
The number of buses will be increased depending upon the response of public on this route, the official said.
Presently, the Delhi Aerocity Metro station of Airport Express Line is also running feeder bus services to facilitate the movement of passengers from the Aerocity station to Terminal-1 of the Domestic Airport and vice versa.
