Sir Padampat Singhania University, a private university, conferred the honourary degree on the former managing director of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the actress during its convocation held here yesterday.
The veteran actress donned convocation gown and received the honourary doctorate in Philosophy.
The other guests of honour on the occasion were Prof John E Christensen, Chancellor, University of Nebraska at Omaha, US and Prof Haruo Shimada, President, Chiba University of Commerce, Japan.
