Delhi Metro train movement on Jahangirpuri-HUDA City Centre line, will be regulated briefly tomorrow at two stations--Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan--due to security reasons.
"As advised by Delhi Police, train movement at Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan will be briefly regulated on October 2.... This is owing to securing arrangements made due to the presence of the Prime Minister and other VVIPs in the vicinity of these stations for the launch of nationwide cleanliness campaign around 9 AM," said Anuj Dayal, DMRC Executive Director(Corporate Communications).
Commuters will be allowed to exit from these two stations between 7:15 AM to 7:45 AM and no entry of passengers will be allowed during these timings.
No entry/exit of passengers will be allowed at these two stations from 7:45 AM to 10:05 AM as trains will not stop at these two stations during this period, Dayal said.
Interchange will also not be available during these timings at the Central Secretariat station for passengers of Line 2 (Jahangirpuri to HUDA City Centre) and Line 6 (Central Secretariat to Badarpur) and vice-versa.
However, interchange will be available at Mandi House Metro station for Line 2 and Line 6 commuters.
Train services on all other lines will be run as per normal schedule throughout the day.
