The University took the decision after Kerala Governor Justice P Sathasivam ordered that appropriate steps are to be taken by the university to ensure that functioning of these off campus centres within or outside its jurisdiction without sanction of the government are discontinued forthwith.
A university official said it would ensure that adequate arrangements are made to the students who have already joined the courses and registered with the University to continue and complete their studies.
Functioning of university off campus centres came to limelight in May this year after a top police official was caught cheating during LLM examination conducted by the university.
Inspector General of Police T J Jose was allegedly caught copying answers while appearing for the LLM examination conducted by university under its off-campus scheme.
