Actor Michael Douglas has praised his late mother as a "class act" and a "wonderful lady".
The 70-year-old "Ant-Man" star said he is "still digesting" the passing of his mother, Diana Douglas Webster, who died from cancer at the age of 92 earlier this month, reported Variety.
"She was a class act. A real lady. She had a wicked sense of humour, very bright. Just all around, she was a wonderful lady," Douglas said.
The "Wall Street" actor credited his mother for his strong work ethic.
"She taught me more about giving it your best shot and maintaining a good form. She was English-Bermudian so they kind of have a stiff upper lip to carry on."
Douglas is planning to make a trip to Bermuda to scatter his mother's ashes there as it is a place that is very special to his family.
Webster was a veteran stage and screen actress. She appeared in more than 20 films including "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" and "It Runs in the Family". She also had a role on NBC' "The West Wing.
