Watkins is joining the Fox sitcom in a recurring guest role to play a wealthy divorcee who has hit rock bottom in life, reported Entertainment Weekly.
The 45-year-old actor will play Trish, a new friend of protagonist Mickey, who gets a crush on Jimmy (Scott MacArthur), a development that causes Mickey to re-evaluate her relationship with him.
"The Mick" returns for its second season on September 26.
