A mild tremor measuring 3.7 magnitude on Richter Scale today hit the outskirts of Nepal's capital of Kathmandu as aftershocks of the Gorkha earthquake continue to jolt the country even after a year.
The epicenter of the aftershock was located in Kirtipur, 7 km south from the centre of the capital city, according to the National Seismological Centre.
The tremor was recorded at 2.40 PM local time and was felt in and around Kathmandu.
According to the Centre, the Gorkha Earthquake has been followed by 466 aftershocks with magnitude 4 or above until July 8 when a 4.1 magnitude tremor hit Dolakha district.
The 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit central Nepal on April 25, 2015 has claimed around 9,000 lives.
