Mild tremor hits Nepal again

A mild tremor shook eastern Nepal today as aftershocks continued to hit the country nearly three months after the deadly earthquake.
The tremor this morning measuring 4.3 magnitude on the Richter scale and was recorded at 8.09 am with its epicentre located near Charikot, the headquarters of Dolakha district, 75 kms east of Kathmandu.
It was the first tremor of 4 or more magnitude that the National Seismological Centre recorded in an interval of four days. The tremor was felt in neighbouring districts also.
A total of 353 aftershocks of 4 or more magnitude have been recorded after the devastating earthquake of April 25, that killed nearly 9,000 people.
