Militant hideout busted in Doda; arms and ammunition seized

The Army today busted a militant hideout and recovered five weapons and ammunition in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Based on intelligence inputs about the hideout, a joint operation was launched by the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Gundoh in Doda district today, a Defence spokesman said.
War-like store including one AK-56 rifle, 10 AK-59 magazines, 555 rounds of AK-56 rifle, one SLR, three SLR magazines, one Chinese pistol, two country-made rifles, two radio sets and one Chinese magazine were recovered, the spokesman said.
