Militant outfits call bandh in Manipur

Outlawed militant organisations have called a 24-hour bandh in Manipur from this evening in view of the Independence Day tomorrow, the police said.
The bandh began at 6 PM.
Militant outfits like United National Liberation Front, the Coordination Committee, United Revolutionary Front (Lalheiba) group and Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) called the bandh, police said.
The outfits call such a bandh every year during the Independence Day.
