Militants attack prison in northwest Pakistan

Militants attacked a prison in northwest Pakistan today with bombs, rockets and hand grenade, sparking an intense fighting between the attackers and law enforcers.
The attack around midnight at D I Khan district of Khyber Pakthunkhwa bordering South Waziristan agency by the militants to free their colleagues.
Over 20 explosion heard by the local people in the area.
According to sources, army troopers have been rushed to the site to control the situation.
According to I G Prison Khalid Abbas, the situation will be brought under control as army has been called in.
Some 250 militants, including some high-profile rebels, are locked in D I Khan prison.
