Millions of Brits surprisingly have never tried everyday experiences of the contemporary age such as sending emails, travelling by plane or buying a takeaway coffee, a new study has found.
According to the survey, 23 per cent of Britons have never flown in a plane or visited their nearest neighbour, France.
Furthermore, 19 per cent have never been inside a McDonald's restaurant, and 30 per cent have never bought a take-away cappuccino or latte, the 'Daily Mail' reported.
Despite rapid technological change, 16 per cent people have avoided sending an email, with 5 per cent never having used the internet and 6 per cent a mobile phone.
The research, conducted by internet search engine Ask Jeeves, found that 28 per cent have never watched the X Factor on TV and 54 per cent have never sung at a karaoke evening.
The poll of 1,000 people also discovered that 9 per cent have never seen a James Bond film even though they have been around for 50 years, while 36 per cent have never attended a football match.
