Min temp rises in Raj; Mount Abu shivers at 1 deg C

The minimum temperature rose by 1 to 2 degrees as compared to yesterday's at most places in Rajasthan, while the state's sole hill station Mount Abu shivered at 1 degrees Celsius.
Sikar recorded 6 degrees Celsius followed by 6.2 degrees Celsius in Alwar, 7.5 degrees Celsius in Bhilwara, 7.7 degrees Celsius in Sriganganagar, 7.9 degrees Celsius in Churu, 8.7 degrees Celsius in Pilani, 9 degrees Celsius each in Chittorgarh and Dabok, 9.2 degrees Celsius in Swai 12.8 degrees Celsius each in Jaipur and Barmer.
Dense fog was witnessed in Sriganganagar and the maximum temperature was recorded in between 21 and 31 degrees Celsius respectively, he said.
The MeT department has forecast that weather is likely to remain dry in the next 24 hours.
