The minimum temperatures across the two states, including their common capital Chandigarh, settled 2 to 4 notches above normal limits today, a Meteorological Department official said here.
Chandigarh recorded a low of 13.3 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a low of 10.5 degrees Celsius while Ludhiana's minimum temperature settled at 13.5 degrees Celsius.
The respective minimum temperatures at Patiala, Pathankot, Adampur, Halwara, Bathinda and Gurdaspur settled at 13.7 degrees Celsius, 11.1 degrees Celsius, 10 degrees Celsius, 10.8 degrees Celsius, 10.9 degrees Celsius and 9.1 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The respective minimums at Narnaul, Rohtak, Bhiwani and Sirsa settled at 14.5 degrees Celsius, 14.4 degrees Celsius, 12.2 degrees Celsius and 12.3 degrees Celsius.
