A CID official said that the raids were continuing today.
Eight arrests were made, including that of Prashanto Biswas, who is out on bail, the CID official said.
The raids were conducted at Lichutala and surrounding areas under Kalyani Police Station area in homes, clubs and fields, the official said.
The 25 firearms include small and large guns, the Official said.
The bombs were kept in the middle of a playfield at a school, the official said.
