Minimum temperature hovers close to normal in Pb, Hry

The minimum temperature rose slightly at many places in Punjab and Haryana and hovered above normal limits.
UT Chandigarh recorded a minimum temperature of 9.2 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal, a MeT Department official said here.
In Haryana, Ambala recorded minimum of 9.3 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal while the minimum at Karnal settled at 7.6 degrees Celsius.
Hisar registered a low of 8.3 degrees Celsius, one notch below the normal.
Amritsar in Punjab recorded a minimum temperature of 7.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal while Ludhiana and Patiala recorded a low of 7.6 degrees Celsius and 10.2 degrees Celsius.
According to the MeT, weather likely to remain dry and shallow fog is likely to be observed at few places in next three days in Punjab and Haryana.
