Minister orders lodging of case against retain chain shop

Jharkhand Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Minister Saryu Rai has directed the Food Inspector here to lodge a case against a shop of a retail chain after he found rotten mango and coloured vegetables in the shop at Mango area here.
Rai told PTI today that he went to the shop last night after receiving complaints from customers.
Rai said he was shocked to find stale mango, coloured vegetables at the shop of the retail chain in Mango here.
Describing it as "serious", the minister immediately directed the Secretary of Health Department to probe while ordered the Food Inspector here to lodge a case against the shop of the retail chain.

When contacted by PTI the officials of the retail chain store here refused to speak.
