Ministries, states showcase expertise at Africa Summit

In an effort to attract the attention of visiting African leaders, several ministries of union government and many states are showcasing their expertise in different sectors at the business exhibition at the India-Africa Forum Summit here.
The Ministry of Science and Technology has set up a pavilion showcasing innovations and providing information on various scholarships that the government of India offers to African students.
The business exhibiting, which has participation of many private companies from different sectors, was inaugurated by Minister of State for External Affairs V K Singh yesterday and will continue till tomorrow.
The Ministries of Renewable Energy, Water Resources and Ganga Rejuvenation have set up stalls showcasing their expertise and how it can be used in Africa. The MRNE is showcasing its expertise in areas of generating solar and wind energy.
Gujarat government has set up a pavilion showcasing pioneering projects including Special Investment Regions, Petroleum, Chemicals & Petrochemical Investment region (PCPIR), Dholera SIR, Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) and International Finance Tech-City (GIFT).
The Government of Telangana also has a pavilion for the state.
