Minor boy mauled to death by leopards

A 10-year-old boy was mauled to death by two leopards in an orchard in Baramulla district of north Kashmir, police said today.
The boy, Tariq Ahmad Sheikh, was playing in an apple orchard near his Watergam-Kreeri house, 35 kms from here, when he was attacked by the leopards last evening, a police spokesman said.
He said the boy died in the attack, while both the wild cats fled to nearby forest following hue and cry raised by the villagers.
