Ashish, a resident of Satguru Nagar locality, was crushed under a tractor trolley on Lohara Road while returning home after taking a tuition class last evening, they said.
The driver of the sand-laden trolly abandoned his vehicle and fled from the spot after the incident, police said.
Efforts are on to nab the absconding accused while the further probes are on, they added.
