They alleged that the police have been assuring them of sorting out the matter by negotiating with the party concerned.
The distraught parents of the kidnapped girls, aged 15 and 16, claimed they have been urging authorities at Badkot police station to ascertain whereabouts of the girls ever since the incident took place on February 20 but to no avail.
The girls' fathers, who are farmers in Paunti village, alleged that some people from Haryana had visited their village recently under the pretext of negotiating marital alliances and abducted their minor daughters.
Mother of one of the girls, Bishula Devi alleged they had no clue either about the girls' whereabouts or their condition but instead of helping them out police was prevaricating over the matter.
However, Badkot police station in-charge Santosh Kunwar said he is aware of the incident but no written complaint has been lodged in this connection by the relatives of the girls.
