Minor fire at Raj Bhawan

A minor fire broke out today at the Raj Bhawan here but no damage was caused in the incident.
The blaze occurred near Suite No 5, 6 and 7 where some repair work was being carried out by labourers, a Raj Bhawan official said.
However, thanks to the fire fighting system installed in the building, the flames were brought under control before it could spread, he said.
Prima facie, it appears that some welding work was in progress when the fire broke out, the official added.
