Minor fire in Chinnaswamy stadium

Ahead of the final play-off between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers of Bangalore (RCB) at the Chinnaswamy stadium here, a minor fire broke out in the mobile generator stationed near gate number nine of the venue.
"Two fire tenders, which are always stationed as a stand by during a match, immediately put out the fire that broke out in one of the wires of the generator due to loose contact and sudden rains that lashed the city," fire official told PTI.
"There is no problem now," he added.
