Minor girl drowns in river

A 13-year-old girl died today while three other children are feared drowned when they were taking a bath in the Yamuna river in Fatehpur district, the police said.
As many as six children of Malin ka Dera village were swept away by the fast currents in the river, the Uttar Pradesh Police said in a statement.
Local residents managed to rescue two children, it said, adding divers have been pressed into service to look for other three children, the police said.
